Bukky Of Notts Venture Ltd – Refund & Return Policy

Last updated: 18/08/2026

At Bukky Of Notts Venture Ltd, we are committed to supplying fresh, high-quality products and delivering excellent customer service.

Because we specialise in both perishable and non-perishable food products, please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this policy.

Nothing in this policy affects or limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. Perishable Goods

Due to the fresh and perishable nature of some of our products, perishable goods are generally not eligible for return or cancellation simply because a customer has changed their mind.

This may include:

  • Fresh produce and vegetables
  • Fresh, chilled or frozen meat
  • Fish and seafood
  • Other fresh or frozen food
  • Other products that may deteriorate or become unsuitable for resale

However, this does not affect your legal rights where a product is:

  • Incorrect or different from what you ordered
  • Missing from your order
  • Damaged before or during delivery
  • Faulty or unsafe
  • Not of satisfactory quality
  • Not as described

We do not normally accept returns or provide refunds where:

  • The customer has simply changed their mind.
  • The customer placed an accidental or incorrect order.
  • Delivery could not be completed because the customer was unavailable to receive the order.
  • An incorrect delivery address or contact details were provided by the customer.

These circumstances do not affect any statutory rights that may apply.

2. When a Refund or Replacement May Be Available

We want to put things right where there is a genuine problem with an order.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, a refund, replacement or other appropriate remedy may be available where:

Incorrect Item: We supplied a different product from the one ordered.

Missing Item: An item paid for was omitted from the order.

Damaged in Transit: A product arrived damaged.

Quality Issue: A product is faulty, unsafe, not of satisfactory quality or not as described.

Eligible Non-Perishable Return: An eligible non-perishable product is returned in accordance with applicable cancellation and consumer rights.

For damaged, perishable or food-quality issues, customers should contact us as soon as possible and, wherever possible, within 24 hours of delivery or collection.

Evidence

We may request clear photographs or video of the product and packaging to help us investigate a claim.

Providing evidence helps us investigate and resolve issues efficiently, but the evidence requirement does not remove or limit any statutory rights you may have.

3. Reporting an Issue

Customers should report any problem with their order as soon as possible.

For perishable, damaged or food-quality issues, we strongly recommend contacting us within 24 hours of delivery or collection, because the condition of food products can change over time.

Where possible, please provide photographs or video evidence of the product and packaging.

This reporting period is intended to help us investigate issues promptly and does not remove or limit any statutory rights you may have.

All customer service and refund requests should be submitted through our official customer support channels.

4. Review and Resolution

Once we receive your request, our team will review the details and may contact you for additional information.

  • Initial reviews may take between 7 and 14 working days.
  • Additional information or evidence may be requested where reasonably necessary.
  • Processing times may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the issue.

We will assess complaints fairly and in accordance with this policy and applicable UK consumer law.

5. Closing of Customer Enquiries

We aim to resolve customer issues as quickly as reasonably possible.

If we are waiting for information reasonably required to assess a claim and the customer does not respond after reasonable reminders, we may close the enquiry.

Closing an enquiry does not affect any statutory rights the customer may have.

Nothing in this policy affects or limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

6. Refund Methods

Where a refund is due under this policy or applicable law, it will normally be issued to the original payment method.

Where appropriate and agreed with the customer, we may offer store credit or a voucher as an alternative resolution.

Refund processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

7. Pre-Orders and Bespoke or Specially Sourced Orders

Pre-ordered, specially sourced or bespoke products may have specific cancellation arrangements.

Any applicable cancellation arrangements will be communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.

Where applicable law provides a right to cancel or a remedy because goods are faulty, incorrect or not as described, those rights will continue to apply.

8. Orders That Cannot Be Delivered

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that someone is available to receive the order where required.

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • The customer is unavailable to receive the order; or
  • Incorrect delivery information was provided,

additional delivery arrangements or charges may apply where appropriate.

Where perishable food has deteriorated or become unsuitable for resale because delivery could not be completed for reasons attributable to the customer, we may not be able to provide a refund, subject to applicable law.

10. Our Commitment

This policy is intended to explain our returns and refund procedures clearly while protecting the rights of both our customers and our business. Nothing in this policy affects or limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
